It all started with JOY

You may be surprised to learn that my name is Sydney, and not Joy... but it's true!

Joy Artisan Bakery got it's name from Joy - my grandmother - who taught me the magic of maintaining family traditions, and Willow Joy - my daughter - who uncovered a desire in me to have more meals around our family table. Joy is a collision of the past and the future, and my recipes are a love letter to my children, who I hope will carry these traditions forward and pass them down, preserving the flavors and techniques that have been passed down through generations.

The joy that food brings is timeless. My hope is to invite you to rediscover the simple pleasures hidden within the most basic ingredients—flour, water, and salt—and to experience the magic they can create when brought together with care and intention.
